  1. 1.       I would like to gift some of your baking supplies, how can I do this?

We are currently working towards this possibility. Although, if you are interested in being offered this service, do leave us a comment so we can speed up the process.


  1. 2.       I need something that I cannot find in your products, could you get this for me?

Definitely. Send us an e-mail at with a description of the baking tool you want and we will get it for you.  We love all you enthusiastic baker chefs.


  1. 3.       How can I know the differences between two similar products?

We offer a ‘Compare’ feature that essentially allows you to choose baking equipments of your choice that you would like to evaluate and compare. The feature describes the benefits of each product you wish to compare, it also offers short descriptions of each of the products along with the prices, etc.


  1. 4.       What sorts of brands do your products come from?

We are stocked with high quality baking tools from brands such as Wilton, Squires Kitchen, FMM, Silikomart, and Alcas. Cakesmiths is constantly looking for quality conscious companies as we cater to a certain level of caliber. 


  1. 5.       What sorts of baking equipments do you offer?

We offer a wide range of products relevant to baking supplies and bakeware. We are stocked with varieties of cake/cupcake moulds (silicone and steel), pastry tools, cutters, edible decorations, spatulas, brushes, and so much more! Anything you can think of to create an artistic dessert, we have it.


  1. 6.       How long after I receive my ingredients, will they be applicable for expiry?

As per India FSSAI and Maharashtra FDA laws, we stock all of our edible products (cake decorating supplies, fondant/chocolate related ingredients) well within the range of expiry. However, individual timelines are printed on the packaging of each of our products. We are FSSAI & FDA certified, and possess a license for each of the food products we sell. 



Payments and Delivery FAQs:

  1. 1.       How much time will it take for me to receive my order after I place it?

We currently ship order during normal business days (Monday to Friday), currently weekend shipments are not available. We make every effort to ship your order(s) within 24 hours of order placement. From that time onwards, you will receive your goodies within next 7 working days.


  1. 2.       Do you deliver to every part of India?

Yes, we do. However, we do not accept cash on delivery from every part of India. Certain areas and postcodes can be recognized for available payment options at the Checkout page, as soon as you enter your postcode. If we do not accept cash on delivery at your location, you will receive a message specifying so and suggesting you other modes of payment.

  1. 3.       What methods of payments can I use?

We accept all major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express.) We are tied with 35 banks for net banking. Our pre-paid card tie-ups are: ITZ Cash Card, Done Card, Airtel Money, and I-Cash. Also, there is always the option of cash on delivery.


  1. 4.       What is the return policy?

We accept exchanges for all non-edible, full-priced products purchased at If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please do exchange it for something of equal or greater value, within 10 days from the date of purchase.

Exchanges are valid on electronic payments only. Though we do offer cash on delivery services, we do not accept exchanges for it. Cakesmiths cannot offer money back returns at this point in time, however, we are constantly working on making our policies better.

Although, we take great care to review each item of your purchase before shipping them to you, we will exchange any goods that are received in a damaged or expired condition at no additional cost.


  1. 5.       How long does it take to receive a refund?

You should receive a refund normally within 5 working days.


  1. 6.       I cannot find my credit/debit card listed in your payment options, what should I do?

If your credit/debit card is not currently listed in our payment options, leave us a comment or drop us an e-mail at We are happy to receive your comments and incorporate them into Cakesmiths. Don’t forget, there’s always the option for cash on delivery as well.


  1. 7.       Do your prices include taxes and shipment charges?

Our prices are inclusive of all taxes. There is no shipment cost for an order above Rs. 2000.


  1. 8.       Will you store my credit card details?

Cakesmiths does not store any of your credit card details. Although, our payment gateway ‘Payu’ does offer an option of “1-click checkout” after your first purchase. This is offered for your own convenience so you don’t need to constantly fill in your information.
